American League Champions

We’ve been staying up
late to watch the American League Championship these past few days. Since I can’t take the excitement and agony of watching Red Sox battle their way back to a 3-3 game 7 series, I have always gone to sleep and only finding the winning news from Kenny or reading it in the news the next day. Last night, however, I decided to watch the game till the end. I am not a big baseball fan as it is not a very
exciting game. Many would disagree with me, but I cannot imagine what is so fun to watch a 2 hour game when sometimes nothing ever happens. I have not followed baseball and am not a Red Sox fan but each year during World Series time I often hear how the Red Sox are
cursed (
Curse of the Bambino, which began when the Red Sox sold Babe Ruth to the Yankees, prompting Paul Revere’s midnight ride
i think the rever ride is a joke since it was about something else) and cannot win it all since they traded off Babe Ruth in 1918. Maybe this post is a little premature but heck, the Red Sox are going to the World Series and I hope they win so all this bad omen may go away!
