Super Size Me: Squash Edition

My dad had planted some chinese squash (補阿 in Taiwanese and can someone tell me what it is in chinese?) in March/April. He left for Taiwan in mid-May and since then no one has taken care of the squash except for Mother Nature. When my mom came last week she went out to the veggie garden, which our home owner's association calls a jungle, she found an oversize squash. She has been eating it for the entire week since then and has brought me what's left of the squash last night. The funny thing is there was only one oversized squash and the rest of the squash didn’t really grow. Had my dad stayed in the States, I know I will have lots and lots of squashes to eat for the entire summer. YUM.
testing comments
i have been wondering why no one has been commenting on my blog... i had to change some setting to accommodate new k2 template so hopefully you can comment w/o any problem
hmm...still think there is some problem
Wow.. cool... @@ Is this cool comment format what you mean by "k2 template"? @@" (don't laugh at me, I'm computer illiterate... = =a)
Anyways, cool giant squash... but, when these things grow so big, don't they become hard and have too much fiber and not sweet and juicy? @@"
How did you and your mom eat / cook it? XD
