This past weekend I had planned to go to a Shakespeare play and farmers market but life doesn't always end up the way you plan them. Instead of the play and market, I ended up watching 6 movies on TBS on Saturday, 1 hour of Travel Channel of the best ice cream and beaches around, plus 2 episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh with a few innings of baseball and a few set of the French Open in between with Koala. That took about 13 hours of my Saturday. As to which 13 hours, you can calculate on your own. Yu-Gi-Oh starts at 11am and adding a 3 hour lunch, you should be able to derive when we stopped watching TV on Saturday.

After having done nothing Saturday, Sunday night I decided to ask Koala over for more movie. To my surprise she accepted my invitation and foregoes the joy of writing a 40 pages paper; I was so touched. When Koala arrived at my place around 11pm, I told her I was hungry and wanted to go eat out. We went out to grab late night and returned home around 1am to watch the movie that lasted 2 hour.

So with more nothingness on Sunday you'd expect me to start cleaning the house like a mad woman on Monday. Well, as it turns out, we went to lunch with Koala and her mom. While waiting for her mom, the Hsus showed up and we ended up going to Japanese buffet. That's another 3 hour of my life. After the buffet the Hsus suggested that we go to karaoke, adding another 3 hour of nothingness on my weekend resume.

There you have it. This weekend is just about nothingness. And you'd think nothingness is suppose to be relaxing and soothing to the body but yet I had to come back to work on Tuesday morning to relax.

Peter Gibbons (from Office Space): I did nothing. I did absolutely nothing, and it was everything I thought it could be.
