Tidbits

I am in Taiwan now. Hmmm, the flight was...well, the 1st leg from DC to LA was not so pleasant. I felt sick on the flight but no wheelchair needed. When I arrived in LA, it was 11pm EST, which is normally kind of like my bedtime. As I travel from Long Beach Airport to LAX to catch my flight from LA to Taipei, I was sick and tired. Got to LAX and checked in and went to the gate to wait around 2AM EST. 2AM guys and gals! So you know how tired I must be. I sat at the gate waiting to board around 3AM and while waiting I took a nap. And when I woke up, no passengers at the gate and all I could hear was this urgent call for those who have not board yet to hurry to gate 105. 105!!!! That was my gate! So I got up, calm and sleepy, and went to the gate. They looked at my boarding card and said yep that's it and let me on the aircraft. I was the last one on the plane and the plane took off 3 minuets afterwards. Had I slept for a few more minuets, I probably would have missed my flight right at the gate!! Whoohooo!!! At that time, I really didn't feel like flying after the gruesome 5 hour flight from DC. Luckily my flight from LA to Taipei was good. I did not have any motion sickness and slept for 8 hours straight before waking up to watch 2 movies and have my only meal on the plane. I was sleeping through the first meal. Anyways, not such an exciting story but I almost miss my plane which made me really excited. It would have been such a cindy had I done so. Yeah!
