Taiwan Trip - Day 3, 4, & 5

I was in Taichung for approximately 2 days, Shalu to be exact. It was pretty cool going back to Ken’s hometown again and saw relatives.

Went biking and took pictures. Bike to the McDonald that Ken, Cindy, and Steven love so much. Ordered a 麥脆雞 and 玉米濃湯. Yum….

Then Ken’s dad took us around and showed us a 清水 rest area on Highway 2. It was a huge rest area and very pretty. Too bad I didn’t take a very good picture but I managed to take a picture of a foot sculpture at the rest stop. The rest stop has become a tourist attraction and many people go to see the night scene of 台中港.

I also noticed that my favorite drink since childhood 蜜豆奶 has a different packaging now. I couldn’t recognize it at the beginning but the taste seems to be the same even though they are advertising it as made with 發過芽的豆子.

Back in Taipei now; stay tune for my Saturday 淡水看中醫 trip tomorrow :p Oh and there was a train station on the way to Taichung called 通宵. Not the exact spelling but almost the same…

Oh and Day 3 4 5 picture can be found
